Terry has pursued a varied musical career over the last 30 years, as singer, accompanist, organist, choirmaster, musical director and cabaret entertainer. He has played more than 70 roles on stage, from the title roles in The Marriage of Figaro and Don Pasquale to Fagin and Widow Twankey. |

Terry’s favourite role is Professor Higgins which he has played three times, on one occasion winning an Arts Council award. Terry has played many roles in Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals, including Curly, Billy Bigelow, Emile de Becque and Captain von Trapp. However, in "Oklahoma!" this is the first time he has played a comical Iranian! Terry has also performed with members of the D’Oyly Carte including Alistair Donkin and Marilyn Hill-Smith. He is a senior house pianist with Ardingly International Summer School and musical director of Burnham Music Group. He also regularly performs his one-man shows including An Evening with Noel Coward and I Get A Kick Out Of Cole. Terry is married with two sons, one step-son, three cats, two guinea pigs and a rabbit! |

Sue Lucas - Pianist
Sue is a valued member of SOCS. She is our rehearsal pianist and has endless patience, playing and re-playing the various parts for the sopranos, altos, tenors and bases. She is always willing to act as a vocal coach for the soloists and usually manages to fit in extra sessions as well. Sue joins the orchestra for the productions and is instrumental in finding the musicians we need. Sue not only acts as pianist, but also helps with costumes, tickets and many other tasks behind the scenes. |
